Happy 1st Thanksgiving Owen!!! We had a really nice Thanksgiving Day this year. We started off at my Mom's in Vancouver just hanging out and having some snacks. Grandma got her short fix with Owen and then we were off to Gresham to my Dad's for an early, but oh so YUMMY dinner! To me, there is nothing better than the comfort of Thanksgiving food. mmm...mmm. Then we headed back up to Battle Ground for a later dinner at Nick's parents. Owen ate so much food, I think he may have eaten more than me!! He loved the yams and pumpkin pie. I'm pretty sure daddy fed him his own piece. What a lucky guy!!
Owen having just a grand old time eating dinner!!
While we spent time with my Mom, Owen found a cheap thrill... a basket of pinecones. He had so much fun taking them out of the basket one by one and then putting them all back in. He has such a fun and entertaining personality. Too cute.
You buy them expensive toys, they play with the odds and ends.

That nephew of mine sure is a cutie! It's good to see that you all enjoyed the Thanksgiving festivities. Pumpkin pie is the best! And oh yes...children LOVE the "toys" that don't cost hardly, if at all, a thing! Fascinating, isn't it?? :p Laundry baskets and juice pitchers are highly favored in our home by Jocelyn. Look forward to the day that Owen & Andrew get to play together. (Obviously since Andrew's not born yet, that will be a little while. :)) Thanks again for the recipe. Making it Saturday - can't wait! Talk to you later sis. Give that nephew of mine lots of hugs and kisses for us!
Cute pics Erin! I love the family one. I can't believe how big Owen is getting. He's so stinkin cute!
I'm with Owen. I love pumpkin pie and yams. AND I love pine cones too--the cinnamon scented kind are my favorite!
I love the family picture you have at the top of your blog. You all look great!
