Drum Roll Please!!!

Well, for those of you who sided with Nick and thought that this baby was a girl... you were WRONG!! It's A Boy!!! So congrats to the few of us who thought it was a boy. :)

At the ultrasound, the tech said that he was going to start by just looking at the placenta, umbilical cord and such, and for us to not focus too much on the baby (ok- whatever dude!! did you forget you were talking to an expectant mother??) and that if we were interested in finding out the sex he would do it at the end. So ironically, as soon as he said this, the ultrasound wand ran across my belly stopping right where the baby's legs were wide open. There will be no arguments made whether there was a penis or not. There was DEFINATELY a penis!!

So, as soon as we came home and started talking to Owen about his new baby brother, he says with a straight face and very sternly, "I want a sister!" Sorry buddy. Not this time!!

Nick and I are so excited to be having another boy!! Not that there wouldn't be just as much excitement for a girl, but having another boy makes life a bit easier as we have all boy stuff and the toy room which will become the baby's room is already painted blue! Now we have 20 more weeks to decide and AGREE on a name. Taking into consideration the names he wanted to use for Owen, it won't surprise me if it takes all 20 weeks!!
