The Older Brudder

Owen has been such a good big brother! When we first came home from the hospital, he acted out a bit, mainly towards me. He clung to me and didn't quite understand that the upper part of mommies body didn't want to be rammed into. OUCH!! And like most toddlers almost 3, his listening skills are, well, non-existant!

He always loves to be around "Brudder." I swear he doesn't understand that he doesn't need to be an inch away from Nolan's face for him to be able to see and hear him. But, he's 2, so I have just gotten used to telling him to back up. No, BACK UP!!!! ;) It has been fun to see how Owen interacts with him and see that he really has taken a strong likening to Nolan. Lets cross our fingers that it continues!!

Lately, Nick and Owen have been going on some hikes in the area. Once to give mommy a break and another when I was at a conference. I wish I could have gone, but am glad that they are getting their Daddy-Son time in! :)

I LOVE this boy!!

"Playing" baseball with daddy. Until daddy leaves him for the football game on tv!! :(

This kid lives in these boots! I just ordered them in the next 2 sizes!!

A proud lookin' BIG BRUDDER!!

Daddy tried to give this old hat to a friend and Owen was so possessive of it, that we couldn't give it away. So he wore it for a few days just to make sure it was staying here!! Poor guy.

Owen wanted to have a sleep over with Nolan on his blanket. That is, until Nolan wouldn't stop crying. Then he wanted his blanket back. "Take him mommy!"

Bath time with new toys and lots of bubbles!!

Can't get enough of his LITTLE BRUDDER!!

Owen learned soon on that he should be in EVERY picture I am taking of Nolan...

Cheese!!!

Blankie-check, Monkey-check!
