I've got GREAT NEWS!!!! Nick is CANCER FREE!!!! He had his CT scan taken on Friday and his appointment with his Oncologist today. His doctor said that the chemo killed all of the cancer cells and that his lymph nodes were back to normal! Which means no surgery!! I can't even begin to tell you how happy I am for Nick and how proud of him I am for him going through these last few months and trying to stay so optimistic and positive. I know that he has inspired so many people to live healthier, happier lives, including myself.
I added a couple pictures, one of Nick on his first day of treatments and one of Nick reading to Owen, after the hair had gone. I know many of you don't live near by and have been curious as to how Nick looks bald. :) Here's to settle the curiosity!!

I was just thinking this morning that we should have heard about this by now and I was REALLY nervous. SOOO relieved to hear the good news. Tell Nick even though I've never met him that I was pulling for him. Nice work!
That is awesome news! Time to celebrate. I think this calls for some cookies! Love you guys!

CONGRATULATIONS!!! That is the best news. We're so happy to hear it!
Once again, congrats friends!! We love you and look forward to having some sort of cooking experience on as regular of a basis as we can!!! The apple crisp was WONDERFUL!!!
Our family was excited to hear the news of Nick being cancer free, but I wanted to let you know that he probably couldn't have done it without a wonderful and supportive wife. I've been reading Nick's "Shared Strength" posts and from what I hear from my Mom Eva (Nick's Aunt, I'm sure most of his strength came from you and his wonderful son. I have never met you, but I've heard great things about you. I am glad that you and Nick were able to get through this huge trial together. Take care and I hope to some day meet you.
